There’s a special way that UTS brings students together. The school is ambitious and challenging, but “your friends all going through the same thing,” says Taylor Shirtliff-Hinds ’17, Harvard ’21, and a UTS School Captain in 2016-17. “You are not alone.”
That supportive sense of community lives on after graduation, coming together in the resounding support for the Building the Future campaign. Ultimately, the core focus of the upgrades to the school’s physical structure are the students
“This Campaign is an investment in the future, and in the students of the future. We are building a facility for future leaders,” says Taylor.
The new, high-calibre facilities will help further that drive for excellence exemplified by graduates like Taylor, give students the opportunity to reach new heights in their extra-curriculars, and most importantly, amplify their sense of pride as they walk in the door of the stunning renewed UTS school facility.
“We’ll finally have a building that fits our academic reputation,” says Taylor.
