Our children make UTS an incredible place. The BTF Parent Challenge is to make UTS an incredible place for our children. Thanks to the incredible work of our parent volunteers and the unprecedented support from the parent community, the 2018 BTF Parent Challenge saw parent giving increase by 254% with three grades surpassing 75% participation! These grades will be recognized on a plaque in the revitalized UTS.
2018 Grade Participation:
Why UTS parents support the Building the Future campaign:
Our daughter Christina loves the school and adores its teachers very much. We are honored to be able to contribute to the school. When Christina grows up, she will be proud of the donation made on her behalf to her alma mater. We wish UTS grow stronger and even more outstanding.

- A science building went up in my high school, made possible by a single donation from an alumna and her parents. It remains part of my high school memory even though I never stepped inside before my graduation.
A (then) state-of-the-art teaching hall went up in my grad school, made possible by donations from alumni and parents. I was among the first group of students who took classes and held study sessions there. It occupies a significant position in my grad school memory.
Another state-of-the-art building went up in my business school, made possible by donations from alumni, friends and families. Pride arises each time I pass it by, even though my contribution as a new grad is insignificant in amount.
My son may not be able to graduate from the new building at 371 Bloor St. W., but he will return to the new campus with great pride as I did returning to the science building at my high school.
My daughter will be among the first group of kids who go to classes and complete high school from the new 371. I can even see now how she and her friends chatting or idling in the sun-lit new atrium, as I did many years ago, in another new atrium.
I am proud to help building their fond memories. I am proud to help building the future.

- My son is proud of UTS. We are proud of UTS. We are contributing to a better future for UTS. This is the second time we have donated to Building the Future. We wish to contribute to our son's journey of learning with UTS.
